Seven years after making the short film La création du jardin botanique (1940), Jean Arsin returned to the rapidly-changing site. In addition to its portrait of the priest Marie Victorin, founder of Montreal’s botanical gardens, this film highlights the facility’s educational vocation and provides a glimpse of the “landscapes” it offers visitors.
