Ever since the first Exposition provinciale de Québec in 1912, crowds of people attend every year to admire the winning animals and take advantage of the many activities and attractions on offer. The V for victory is visible in the 1942 edition of the Exposition, when war had forced the rationing of the valuable foodstuffs displayed by the farmers.
