The 1950s were a time of rapid suburban growth. Made more accessible by the democratisation of automobile ownership, these suburbs claimed to give young couples an opportunity to buy property far from the noise and pollution of the city. This document vaunts the merits of prefabricated buildings, which were especially popular in the suburbs developed in the post-war years.
